Based on a rough graphite sketch I did one lazy afternoon. Painted in Corel Painter.
Daily DeviationGiven 2008-08-18The Gray Lady by ~brigidashwood is one of this artists' most gorgeous works. The key and the lock could symbolize that she is still waiting for her true love. The melancholic colors reflects a feeling of waiting and the black gives more sadness and seriousness.The purples and the blues give a more magic fantasy feeling, where the gray is the most important for the artist in this piece, which could represent time passed.
